birthday birthday

Benjamin turned 6!!! He is suddenly obsessed with golf. (he wants to be a pro golfer now?) We have only played putt putt 1 time in his life, and neither Ben or I golf so I have no idea where this came from. But I went with it and he had a putt putt party. It was so fun! Hot...but fun! We are so grateful for the families that joined us on that hot night in August to celebrate #6!

Benjamin started kindergarten last week. I could seriously ramble forever about my fears, concerns, excitement, and prayers. I suddenly realize I have only 1 more year until Grady starts. After that I will be a stay at home mom with no kids at home? I guess that is when I volunteer like crazy, try a bazillion new recipes, go for walks, clean my house too much, and go to therapy because I don't know what to do with myself now that my kids are in school?

I miss Benjamin being at home during the day. :( I don't like being in a routine of early bed times and even earlier mornings. But I am grateful for a wonderful school and for the opportunity he has to learn all about this great big world. (and for the record he isn't a fan of the bedtime or morning wake ups either) :)

I cannot believe how fast Tyler is growing up. I was warned this would happen. :(

Apparently "Big Boys" don't like to have parties anymore so he just wanted chili cheese dogs and a drive in movie. He is easy to please.
